Our son Ben and his now wife, Lea, held their rehearsal dinner, wedding and reception at the Rut Hut.  The entire event was absolutely amazing.  Bob and Ronda treated us like family. The location is a picturesque country setting with open grounds, very private and ideal amenities for a fun and enjoyable wedding weekend.    

Prior to the wedding weekend, Lea and Ben visited the venue and met with Ronda to go over their vision for the wedding.  Ronda worked great with the kids and both felt that her easy going style and fun personality made the planning process less stressful.  All of the decorations, wedding plans, catering details and venue selections were exactly what they were looking for.  Because of the location, the wedding was actually a three day event.  The bride and groom only left the venue to enjoy some golf, shopping and salons in nearby Gaylord.  On Friday, we had the rehearsal dinner at the Dirty Doe followed by a large bonfire party with any wedding guests that were already up for the Saturday wedding.  This allowed the bride and groom and family to spend quality time with friends and family beyond the just the wedding day.  

As for the wedding itself, the ceremony was outdoors and unbelievably beautiful, the reception hall was perfect and decorated exactly to the bride’s wishes and the staff were very friendly and accommodating to all of our guests.

The Rut Hut is a phenomenal wedding venue.  It was made even more special by the owners, Bob and Ronda, who do everything in their power to make the entire weekend special for everyone.  We highly recommend the Rut Hut to anyone looking for a wedding weekend in a beautiful, private and scenic place.
